What Is A CertPointeer?
You've seen this new term showing up on the CertificationPoint website...right? Now find out what it encompasses and a little about its orgins.

Put simply a CertPointeer is a member of the CertificationPoint platform. When taking a deeper look, taking on the name CertPointeer can mean engaging with peers, mentors, and businesses collaboratively around work experience builders. At its core, CertPointeers have taken the CertificationPoint platform by the horns and moved the needle of progress into what 'CP' has become today...whether its by creating collaboratives to help peers cross a difficult hurdle or by overall self betterment through the platform. A CertPointeer is not only engaging on the platform to help themselves but also leaving behind breadcrumbs which lead to success for future members that join the platform.

One of the most difficult things to accomplish in life as you get older is to get noticed for the great work you're accomplishing. There are awesome social media websites help provide a pathway, but it gets awefully difficult to be recognized because many time the NOISE from influencers, entertainers, and subject matter experts, and of course attention seekers receives much of the attention and rises up the ranks to become viral. Many of the portfolio website help you carve out a niche to display your portfolio of work...but how will interested employers and potential clients find YOU. CertificationPoint enables CertPointeers, who essentially 'CREATORS', with the best way to get their quality work noticed or placed into rotation...similar to songs being played on the radio. You work is placed into rotation alongside your peers creative works...'MINUS THE NOISE'! CertPointeer Origins
Coming up with the phrase 'CertPointeers' should have been a no-brainer, but we went througha few different nomenclatures for our community members. Initially we used the name CertPointers as we launched the platform. This name was rarely used and relatively an unknown. For a short time after we used CP'ers...which pretty much had the same effect of CertPointers. We eventually came up with CertPointeers, to encapsulate a member who is shooting for the stars...when reaching thier potential and validating their credentials!

Term Of The Day: Windows 10
Windows 10 is the latest release of Microsoft's Windows operating system and the successor to the underwhelming Windows 8 (and Windows 8.1). Initially codenamed Windows Threshold, Windows 10 debuted on July 29, 2015, following a "technical preview" beta release of the new operating system that arrived in Fall 2014 and a "consumer preview" beta in early 2015. With Windows 8 suffering from mostly negative reactions by both enterprises and consumers, Microsoft chose to eschew going with the logical next iteration of Windows, Windows 9, opting instead for the name Windows 10.
